Now, if "HatDance" here was a screenplay, this would be what's called the midpoint--it comes on page 60 of your average screenplay, y'see.

     The midpoint's the place where the die gets cast, as those wacky old Romans might put it, the place where the characters make the decision that will determine the course of the rest of the story. Or something. I keep meaning to look this stuff up and see if I still remember it correctly...
