A new year, a new batch of paper--one that makes my linework even fuzzier and thicker than usual, but hey, I only have 15 sheets of the stuff, so we'll be changing again within a couple fortnights--but it's still all the same old stuff going on around these parts as we either conclude 15 years of Terebinth comics or enter the 10th year thereof.
See, while I started work on the very first page of Terebinth on January 1, 1997, I largely stopped drawing comics between June of 2000 and May of 2003, a gap marked in the current archives by the end of HatDance's fifth act on page 122 and its epilogue on page 123.
To add to the confusion, Terebinth originally appeared in print in Yarf! The Journal of Applied Anthropomorphics, an example of a largely-extinct form of expression known as a "fanzine," from the years 1999 through 2003 before Yarf! ceased publication. It ran concurrently a page a week from May 2001 through May of 2002 on the late, lamented site of the Chimerical Comics Group, and in April 2003, I began reposting the things here.
So 2012 marks a variety of anniversaries, and I for my part will be eating as much cake as possible.
