Bert's limerick there is actually one I wrote some years ago after a trip to the San Diego Comic Con. Four of us were in the car driving back, so we played this limerick game: one person comes up with the first line, then the next person has to do the second and so on around the car till it circles back to the first person again for the last line. Near the end of the ride, someone started with that line about kudzu, and, well, that pretty much ended the game.

     I thought about it over the next few days, though, and came up with the one Bert gives us here. Because that's the kinda guy I am, apparently.
