One - The Crossing Guard

     Here's something that makes me very happy. The image first appeared in the "Fan Art" thread on the now-defunct Daily Grind Competition Message Board and was drawn by fellow Grinder Jason Turner; it features my squirrel Jolene and the squirrel from Miles Pekala's first Strange Town storyarc with special emphasis on how they both seem to be involved in traffic related plotlines. Squirrels and roadkill: two great things that go great together.

     Also, in case anyone's keeping track, this page marks the half-way point in the first Daily Grind storyline. Each of the first four stories will be 30 pages long--six weeks of Monday through Friday strips--which, if I've done my math right, will take 6 months to tell. We'll see if I actually last that long...
