     And so we see how Devil Bunnies are made.

     Since I haven't mentioned it here, I should probably "fess up" that I stole the name "Darius Frum" from my brother-in-law, Ken. When he and my sister Lisa met as students at Cal Tech, he had this blue stuffed bunny rabbit toy whose name was Patrick Darius Frum. And when I realized that Tharka really oughtta have a name to go with his initials--D. F.--well, I think you can see how sychronicity works in my life...

     Oh, and since I haven't mentioned this little fact either, I should continue to fess that I stole the entire name "D. F. Tharka" from the Ancient Greek. "Diephtharka," when written in Greek letters, is the 1st person singular perfect active indicative of the verb "diephterein," and it means "I have destroyed utterly."
