As for the mysterious arachnid hanging out with Dodger's former boss, it's apparently Toch of House Kreelnyik. He's got a history with Mrs. Teasdale, too, going all the way back to near the beginning of "Under Hill," our eighth storyline. He was most recently seen challenging his nephew, Prince Eulatti, for the title of Oberon and the Lordship over the Royal Households of the Fae. And Mr. Awkawt? We'll be learning more about him as our story continues....
