No explosions in the comic here, but it's Guy Fawkes' Day nonetheless! Besides, it's a Mrs. Teasdale story: she's gotta blow something up sooner or later!
As for the things that actually are in today's comic, we first met Mrs. Teasdale's daughter Gloriana the same time she did: at the beginning of our 17th storyline, "Cradle to Grave." Matthias Crossley came into that story as well, and the last time we saw him, in the middle of "Foreign Correspondence," our 27th storyline, they'd settled in as medical practitioners in a fishing community up the coast from Gadsden.
