Yes! Sewer wraiths! Finally!
See, back on Feb 28th, 2005 when I was slapping together the basics for the Daily Grind universe, I wanted to have some way for Gadsden to have alligators in its sewers. That proved impossible in a literal sense, so I decided they would be giant bugs called sewer wraiths instead. I had Mr. Tharka make a passing reference to them on the Friday of the comic's very first week, and I've been scattering mentions of them here and there for the past five years now.
And here they make their first appearence. We'll be seeing more of them as "Twelve Feet Under" splashes toward its conclusion!
