Now, the best-known "Adagietto" is probably the 4th movement of Gustav Mahler's 5th symphony--feel free to give it a listen by means of a YouTube search. The word itself means something like "a little slowly" and is supposed to indicate a musical piece that's a little lighter and sprightlier than the more mournful Adagio. Just the right tempo marking, in other words, for a rebellion in Hell!
Oh, and in case anyone's as anal about the whole time-keeping aspect of all this as I am, it's still Wednesday, November 9th, 2005 for Our Heroes.
