Toch's little "tete-a-tete" with the Devil happened at the two-thirds mark of our 48th storyline, "Hierogamia," right in the middle of his first attempt at this apology stuff he's trying to do again here in our current storyline. So I've apparently been setting this whole thing up for a while now.
