Our Christmas message this year, then, seems to be: never underestimate the power of cute.
I do hafta say, though, that these new rubrics that let us do the Midnight Mass at 10PM certainly do make the whole "cantoring and playing at two vigil masses, leading a carol service, doing the Night Mass, and then catching a few zs before the Mass at Dawn" thing quite civilized...
