This being the 2,600th update of the contest, by some measure, it's our 10th anniversary: 5 updates a week during the 52 weeks a year for 10 years and all. But the calendar says we've stilll got 2 weeks till the last day of February whcih is the actual anniversary date. So let's all just keep eating cake the whole time!
On top of that, though, this is the end of chapter 5. Chapter 6, "Red Glare," the conclusion of Dawn's Early Light, Book XIII of all these Daily Grind adventures, follows immediately. And by "immediately," I of course mean, "on Monday."
