It occurred to me that, during the 2008 presidential election here in the U.S., the story I was doing, "The Way of All Flesh," concerned the young upstart Eulatti vying with the old and wily Toch to be named Oberon of the Household Fae. Unfortunately, I can't get the story I was telling during October and November of 2012, "Waxing and Waning," to line up so nicely with the Obama/Romney election.
This year, though? With power struggles among the giant worm monsters? I think I might just be seeing a few points of inspiration....
