Now, I've never been able to finish a Jane Austen novel, but I've started Pride and Prejudice three or four times. And it's from the first line of that book that this story's title comes from.
As for Chief Henshaw and the midnight-black spider monster, we'll get a version of it over the next couple days here, but if you'd like to see it with your own glowing blue eyes, they first met halfway through our 98th storyline, "Jurisprudence," and things kind of went on from there.
