If, like Lamont, you're a bit confused by Esther's outburst here, well, my first recommendation would be to visit the Table of Contents and read the whole series from the beginning.
For people who have other things to do with their lives, my second recommendation would be to read the 1st storyline, "HatDance," which runs from page 1 through page 126, then read through our 4th storyline, "Prey," which runs from page 201 through page 375, then read through Esther's "Solo Adventure" which runs from page 745 through page 764.
But if you haven't got the time even for that, a brief summation of Miss Annekke's appearances in Terebinth so far would have to include her first lines in the middle of Act IV of "Prey," specifically on pages 319 and 320; her intransigence as demonstrated in Act V of that same story on pages 333 and 342; her volunteering on page 348 to pursue a caravan led by Melody and Sammy; her overtaking that caravan on page 360; and her losing her eye to Bert, Wardell, and Esther on page 365. After that, there's a brief mention on page 705 that Miss Annekke was allowed to retire from her duties at Fawn Hall, and then you'll need to read Esther's "Solo Adventure" mentioned above.
'Cause we're all about the options here at Terebinth!
