As for the actual scene here, Gana rescued the kids in question at the end of "Foreign Correspondence," our 27th storyline, and that's where she turned them over to Mrs. Teasdale to take care of, too. We first saw their temporary quarters in the storage unit at the bottom of these pages near the beginning of the following storyline, "This Mortal Coil," and Mrs. Teasdale was telling Alban about some of her plans for them just before the big murder scene in our previous storyline, "The Way of All Flesh." So at this point, Mrs. Teasdale's had "custody" of the bunch of them for just over two weeks: this story here starts in the early morning hours of Tuesday, September 6th, 2005.
