Arturo needs to remember that, the last time we saw Rust, back during our 33rd storyline, "Against the Dying of the Light," he was not only extremely dead, but he'd also just tricked Arturo into opening a rift in time and space.
So much for the dead having no power.
As for Awkawt and Corsine, if anyone would like to revisit their bloody ends, they came right near the conclusion of "This Mortal Coil," our 28th storyline. So much history!
