Now, if I wasn't a lazy bum, I would go back into these pages, make Part One into the Prologue, Part Two into Part One, Part Three into Part Two, and so on so that this would be Part Five instead of the Epilogue. Or maybe I'd just go all the way and make it into Part Six: I dunno...
As it is, though, "Gonna Roll the Bones" is listed as the Epilogue, so that's that. I stole the title from a fine short story by Fritz Leiber because it summed the whole thing up so nicely in my tiny brain.
It's got a little more of that "harsh language" in it, but here it is, the conclusion of Hearts and Minds, one of the many pre-Daily Grind adventures of D. F. Tharka and A. Gana Belea.
It wasn't till I was half-way through "Dust Bunny," the 4th Daily Grind storyline, that I realized how essential Hearts and Minds here was to an understanding of Tharka and Gana in particular and to the world of Daily Grind in general. And since only about 7 other people in the world had ever seen it, I figured it might be a good idea to put it up here as a sort of prologue.
